KIGEZI

The Kigezi goats are predominantly brown but other colors also exist like black and gray.They generally have uniquely thicker hair coats as compared to the Mubende goats.
They are predominantly found in the southwestern highland areas including Kabale, Kisoro, Kanungu, Rubanda &
Rukungiri districts. These goats are generally smaller than the Mubende in body size, with mature weights of around 25-30 kg.
